And on the trail-end of today’s trailer blitz posts is my pick for most anticipated movie of 2009 – X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I’m a huge fan of Wolverine as a character and the Origin graphic novel would come down as my all-time favorite to date.

I liked how they extended the story beyond Origin and went up to the Weapon X phase of Wolverine’s personal history. I think that would allow for much more character development since Origin requires just so much background knowledge for better appreciation.

Nevermind if they got six-footer Hugh Jackman to play a supposedly vertically-challenged character (He’s 5′3!!!). I think Jackman’s one of the best casting decisions in the history of comic-based movies ever. Feast your eyes, bub!
