Of all the blockbuster movies this year that was supposed to elicit fangasm from me this year, Star Trek was the only one who delivered through and through so far. An alternative story that didn’t veer off the original mythos of the series, but in itself was an original experience non-fans can truly enjoy.
You can now take home the experience once the DVD and Blu-Ray are released on November 17 this year. It will include behind-the-scenes specials, commentaries, and nine deleted scenes! As well a “Hologram” experience. You can check out what to look forward by watching the teaser below.
Lookie here. Trekies are undoubtedly clenching their bumholes for the much anticipated J.J. Abrams Star Trek reboot. Whether it will be a travesty or not, we’ll only know once it hits the theaters later this week. But let’s have something to whet our Star Trek dose for the day. Here’s one for Trekie gamers.
Coming to the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network is Star Trek D-A-C. Don’t bother if you’re looking for ways to control Spock and finally relive your sick fantasies of contorting his CG player character against Kirk, D-A-C’s straight up spaceship shooter. Here’s the first trailer from GameTrailers.
It’s been a while since the last Star Trek movie. And when you thought you’ll never see another one since a main character died in the last one (*sob*), a prequel is already upon us.
The film will follow James T. Kirk enrolling at Starfleet Academy, his first meeting with Spock, and their battles with Romulans from the future, who are interfering with history. The film is scheduled to be released on May 8, 2009 in North America and the United Kingdom.
Watching the trailer, I found my self anticipating another Star Trek movie. And I really hope this will live to the hype. You can view the new trailer after the jump.
We've done some house cleaning and unfortunately, we broke some links to out Photobucket-hosted images. (FAIL!) We're sorry for that so just check our Photobucket album for those missing images.
