University orgs and schools perform at the 2007 Nihongo Fiesta

It was quite fun to watch the performances of the different universities, schools, and organizations during the 2007 Nihongo Fiesta. Most of them were amusing and some were interesting, but all were certainly entertaining. Here’s the line-up of last Saturday’s program: Adamson University Bunka (Matsuri) Koryukai: An Adamson Experience . OngakuSociety at 2007 Nihongo Fiesta

OngakuSociety, the premiere contemporary Japanese music community for Filipino fans, was also present at the 2007 Nihongo Fiesta last Saturday. 7Thvrsday at the 2007 Nihongo Fiesta

I saw 7Thvrsday perform L’arc En Ciel and Do As Infinity hits during the 2007 Nihongo Fiesta. The performance was good but the sound system sucked. Juujiro J-Culture Organziation, Inc. at the 2007 Nihongo Fiesta

Aside from the free mochi, the 34th Nihongo Speech Contest and the doll exhibits, the other cool thing about the 2007 Nihongo Fiesta was the fact that I had the chance to work my social skills to the max. One of the groups of which I had the honor to make an acquaintance was Juujiro J-Culture Organziation, Inc. which is a “non-profit, all-Filipino Youth Organization established last October 22, 2004, that undertakes special...

More mochi!

It was supposed to be a secret, but I guess the secret is out… The only reason why I went to last Saturday’s 2007 Nihongo Fiesta was because of the free mochi. Call me a glutton but I don’t think my love for the Japanese sweet (very similar to our own palitaw, a traditional Filipino rice delicacy that I adore) would actually send me to the fiery pits when my spirit leaves my earthly body. Weng-sensei looked at me...
