Dynamite Tommy, the vocalist of early punk/visual kei band COLOR and former producer of Dir en grey, is writing and directing his first movie, titled “Attitude.” The movie is about rock music from the ’70s to the ’90s, and it will feature several artists as themselves, including Anarchy vocalist Shigeru Nakano and members of X JAPAN, ARB, BY-SEXUAL, and ANGIE.
Principal photography begins in Saitama on the 28th, with a release scheduled for this fall.
Our friends in the US, and our more okanemochi readers here in good old P.I., will surely get their J-rock bone tickled.
June 29 will see SKIN (Yoshiki, Gackt, Miyavi, and Sugizo) perform at the Anime Expo® 2007 in Anaheim, California.

More Transformers posters are now available online. While it builds up the hype, it also gives a good glimpse of the details we can expect from the movie. And I say, from the trailers and the posters that they’re sugoi.
If you expect little Bumblebee looking like a horny yellow bastard like he did in the old cartoon, you might get a bit disappointed. He really looks like a mechanical insect in this one. And Megatron really looks evil with all the jagged teeth, glowing eyes, and mangled visage.

Just when Team Sugoi thought that GMA 7 has maxed out and eventually will go back to your usual heart-gripping dramas, (Well, we can dream, can’t we?) comes another surprise.
The rumor mill (a.k.a. local tabloids) has it that GMA is remaking Marimar. And who else but to take the title role but their primetime favorite, Angel Locsin.
