Yep, a Japanese farmer from Kagawa prefecture started growing this square pakwan about twenty years ago by encasing these watermelons in cube shaped glasses while they are still on the vine. If you want one, just prepare 13,000-15,000 Yen (about 6,500 to 7,500 pesos) plus airfare.
Nodame Cantabile Drama
I think Chelli will be happy to know that the stars and crew of the 2006 J drama (based on a manga by Tomoko Ninomiya which eventually became an anime series) Nodame Cantabile are all set for their 3 week filming in Paris for their two-night special to welcome 2008.
