For some odd reason, Microsoft’s Live Search can now solve algebra problems, probably to one-up Google Search’s Calculator.

From the looks of things, it can only solve up to cubic functions. Not really fancy if you still remember your math, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re expecting to tutor algebra to a little sister or nephew this summer.

  1. What’s that about “Only from the Republic of the Philippines”? Hehehe. They need not spell out the country’s whole name right?

    But yeah. This just makes things a whole lot easier for those dealing with Algebra.

    At least it’s not “Only from the Philippine Islands”. I’m sure the guy who filled up the text file/database table with the official names of countries won’t know the difference (speaking from personal experience on i18n XD).
