During E3 2009, Bioware and Lucas Arts released the trailer for their highly anticipated MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Playing the original Knights of the Old Republic game, I became a fan. And actually can’t wait for this. It will feature a lot of character classes and of course, worlds.
Here’s the trailer:

With official confirmation from the recently opened AFA09.com website, Anime Festival Asia 2009 is on schedule. This will all happen again at Suntec City Convention and Exhibition Center in Singapore on November 21 and 22.
Bringing you Merchandise, Live Acts and Performances, Anime / Manga showcases straight from Japan, Japanese popular culture will once again take centre stage at Anime Festival Asia.
Last year’s event featured Ichirou Mizuki, MAY’N, Kunio Okawara as guests, with lots of good buys and showcases. I’m already saving up to go there.
Crazy! And I mean it as a compliment. Look at the sh*t this Japanese guy can do:
Daichi entered this video for the Beatbox Battle Online World Championship on YouTube. Winner of the Wildcard will have the chance to battle against other beatboxers at the Beatbox Battle World Championship in Berlin, Germany. The online contest ended yesterday (Pinoy time). Guess we’ll know who wins anytime soon. You think Daichi will win?
I went to the ToyCon and all I bought was a PERV shirt and an epal puppet. I was and am quite happy with my purchases since I got them from the booth manned by friends. I only got to attend the second day though due to work.
There were all kinds of booths for toy collectors, enthusiasts, and hobbyists. Local indie comic artists were given spots to pimp their graphic wares. Gamers had their own space where they could bash one another’s brains out in virtual world. There were contests galore, band performances (did they just play Love Song by The Cure?), and meet-and-greet segments (sayang, di ko nakita si Marian!). Of course, it was the cosplayers who caught the attention of the attendees (not to mention the mall-going public in general).
I also met my senpais and other friends at some points during the day.
Ace was there to cosplay Resident Evil (complete with a zombie) with a group. Awesome zombie, dude!
Direk Mike, Jo-senpai, Poli-senpai, Rael-senpai, Hazel (a.k.a. Misao), and Ria (the latter two of Progeny) were there to cosplay Macross. Roch-senpai, Miao-senpai, and Jerry as their support system.
We should have gotten pictures where the Macross team was in character but there simply was no time. We just had to make do with those where they were still chatting in their usual persona. Hahaha!
It is run by AA batteries or it can be attached it to your USB port (with a 200 mm cable) so you can use it when the people at work aren’t looking!
It’s compact (80 x 120 x 60 mm)!
It’s light (140 grams)!
It’s portable!
It stimulates!
It vibrates!
And most importantly, it has tentacles!
The car was neither an Aston Martin nor was it speeding, but it was still kinda impressive anyway. I like the schoolboy-look, complete with backpack Hehe, luksong baka lang yan!
We've done some house cleaning and unfortunately, we broke some links to out Photobucket-hosted images. (FAIL!) We're sorry for that so just check our Photobucket album for those missing images.
